You love fonts? This is your one-stop shop for great typeface.

A well-executed illustration showcase from a talented artist.

Vector graphics are the way of the future, it seems. This website collects shiny things.

Another graphic illustration site (I'm a creature of habit) and this one makes me laugh. Dry humour and stunning graphics, beware!

I N R E T R O G R A D E
During the course of this project, I encountered a lot of blogs created by fellow students that I found to be interesting and compelling. A lot of people took a similar interest in photos and computer illustration as me, so it was very easy to be taken in with the sites they referenced, and the vlogs and composite images that they posted. I found the standard of work to be very hihg, and I enjoyed watching everyone's vlogs, as there were some really exceptional ones to look at.
Here are a few of the blogs I commented on;
The comments I recieved on my blog were all really helpful and very nice, and I enjoyed reading them. They encouraged me to try and make my work even better next time.

Fluid Form

The image shown here was my model submission for the project titled "Fluid Form". It was made wholly from a sheet of silver aluminium mesh, which I chose for it's malleable and aesthetic properties.

I was trying to convey the idea that something that everyone usually considers to be quite stoic and strong could be manipulated to show contours and fluidity. The mesh appears almost malleable, perhaps even soft, and I think it adds very elegant and beautiful emotive quality to the material.

Great Design Sites

This website is a fabulous resource for new and interesting fonts. I love it, because it combines a love of graphic design with a new and innovative outlook on fonts, basically breaking just about every single typeface rule out there that exists.

This is an illustration website run by a self-taught artist from Belgium who is very good at what he does. I really just love his use of colour and negative space, it makes all of his work very beautiful and memorable.

Vector graphics are the way of the future, it seems. This website has a huge collection of really cool vector icons, wallpapers and all sorts of other shiny things.

Another graphic illustration site (I'm a creature of habit) and this one makes me laugh. All of the stuff posted on this blog is full of dry humour and stunning illustrations, and I love browsing through the posts.
